Superchin edged out by Wright in last four

Daryl kept his fine TV form of 2017 going as he was narrowly defeated in the semi finals at the BetVictor World Matchplay.

After a nervous tie-break win over Benito van de Pas, Superchin produced one of the performances of the tournament in defeating two time World Champion Gary Anderson.

He continued where he left off, defeating Mensur Suljovic in the quarter finals before suffering defeat to Peter Wright.
